Leyden came out on top against Addison Trail on Monday thanks in part to Christopher Matz's efforts. Matz pitched 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off ten hits. The performance also marked the most strikeouts (four) he has had since back in April.

Matz's strong effort led Leyden over Addison Trail and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
