Rochester won the last time they faced Wabash and things went their way on Thursday too. The Zebras blew past the Apaches 8-2. The Zebras might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six runs or more this season.
Bria Rensberger made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Aubrey Wilson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 11 games. Another player making a difference was Brailyn Hunter, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
Rochester always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wabash only posted an OBP of .231.
