It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Charles can now relate to. They took a 56-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oxon Hill Clippers. St. Charles' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Several St. Charles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Amia McLamb, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 23 boards. McLamb is becoming a predictor of St. Charles' success: when she posts at least eight rebounds the team is 15-5 (and 1-2 when she doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Kyoko Johnson-Reeves, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 13 boards.

St. Charles' loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Oxon Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

As of now, neither St. Charles nor Oxon Hill have any future games scheduled.
