Basketball Game Preview: St. Patrick's Irish vs. Ogallala Indians

The St. Patrick's Irish will venture away from home to face off against the Ogallala Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Saturday, St. Patrick's had to suffer through a 60-26 loss at the hands of Hershey. The Irish have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

The losing side was boosted by Sophia Baca, who posted six points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in rebounds.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Ogallala, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They strolled past Chase County with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 52-36.

The victory got Ogallala back to even at 2-2. As for St. Patrick's, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

St. Patrick's might still be hurting after the 40-18 defeat they got from Ogallala in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can St. Patrick's avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
