Basketball Game Preview: White Station Spartans vs. Memphis Central Warriors

The White Station Spartans will challenge the Memphis Central Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. White Station is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.5 points per game this season.

White Station is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Kingsbury: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that White Station blew Kingsbury out of the water with a 67-12 final score. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-10.

The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Amare Boothe and Maleah Ward. Boothe had a solid game on Tuesday and posted seven points. Meanwhile, Ward did her best for the losing side, putting up eight points.

Meanwhile, Memphis Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Whitehaven 50-20.

The victory made it two in a row for White Station and bumps their season record up to 10-5. As for Memphis Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
