Volleyball Recap: Central Valley Takes a Loss

Central Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Merced Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Central Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Merced, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

Coincidentally, Central Valley and Merced will both be playing Pitman the next time they take the court. Merced will head out to face Pitman at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while Central Valley will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
