Ambridge is 0-6 against Hampton since April of 2023 but things could change on Thursday. Friday just wasn't the day for Ambridge's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to Blackhawk, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
Meanwhile, while Hampton put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Ambridge. The Talbots put the hurt on the Bridgers with a sharp 15-0 win. The Talbots haven't had any issues with the Bridgers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Teresa Fritsch made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in May of 2025. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. That run marked the first that she has scored this season.
In other batting news, Alena Zottola was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was her first of the season. Eden Lawrence was another key player, earning two runs and three stolen bases.
Hampton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .593. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Ambridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hampton, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
