Softball Recap: Washington County Beats Bardstown for Their Third Straight Win

Washington County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 21-10 margin over the Bardstown Tigers. The game was the first time the Commanders have beaten the Tigers on their field since May 17, 2021.

Washington County got a massive performance out of Izzy Medley, who went 2-for-5 with six RBI, four runs, and two stolen bases. Those six RBI gave Medley a new career-high. Marlee Tennill was another key player, going 3-for-5 with four stolen bases and four runs.
