Baseball Recap: Linfield Christian Victorious

Linfield Christian won against Vista last Monday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Lions came out on top against the Murrieta Mesa Rams by a score of 11-8. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Sawyer Franzen was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Luke Waddell, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Linfield Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Murrieta Mesa only posted a batting average of .267.

Linfield Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-3-1. As for Murrieta Mesa, they moved to 8-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
