Basketball Preview: Chinook Beeters vs. Conrad Cowboys
The Chinook Beeters will head out on the road to square off against the Conrad Cowboys at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Chinook will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
With a playoff game on the line, Chinook rose to the challenge on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 67-15 victory over the Wolves on the road. Chinook has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 29 points or more this season.
Conrad only won by three when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 25-point they dealt the Bulldogs on Saturday. Conrad blew past the Bulldogs 50-25. The win made it back-to-back wins for Conrad.
Chinook pushed their record up to 15-0 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Conrad, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
Everything came up roses for Chinook against the Cowboys when the teams last played two weeks ago as the team secured a 64-20 win. Will Chinook repeat their success, or do the Cowboys have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
