Tilden picks up sixth straight win at home

Recap: Tilden Blue Devils vs. Harlan Falcons

The Tilden Blue Devils stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 47-25 margin over Harlan. With Tilden ahead 30-6 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Tilden can attribute much of their success to Rachel Ruiz, who scored 15 points along with six steals. That's the first time this season that Ruiz grabbed two or more steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Antonella Villegas-Sarmiento, who scored nine points.

Tilden pushed their record up to 11-2 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Harlan, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tilden will take on Corliss at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The pair have allowed few points on average, (Corliss: 24.5, Tilden: 16.8) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Harlan, they will be playing at home against Catalyst-Maria at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
