Flag Football Game Preview: Brewbaker Tech Rams vs. Montgomery Catholic Knights + Official Tickets

Two dominant signal callers in Tessa Wilburn and Hayden Fitts are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Brewbaker Tech Rams will take on the Montgomery Catholic Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Brewbaker Tech comes in on seven and Montgomery Catholic on 16.

Brewbaker Tech is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 37-19 victory over Marbury. Brewbaker Tech's win was all the more impressive since the Bulldogs were averaging only 12.8 points allowed on the season.

Meanwhile, Montgomery Catholic faced Tallassee in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Knights secured a 13-7 W over the Tigers.

Montgomery Catholic didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off six passes before the game was over. Frances Rogers led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself. Haley Ishman is also on a roll when it comes to defended passes, as she's now defended at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Brewbaker Tech's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Montgomery Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 21-4.

Things could have been worse for Brewbaker Tech, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 19-0 loss to Montgomery Catholic in their previous meeting back in October of 2023. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
