Basketball Recap: Harrah Takes a Loss

Harrah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt an 85-49 defeat at the hands of the Jones Longhorns. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 61-35 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bryson Clifford and Connor Barton certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Clifford posted 14 points, while Barton put up 14 points. Those 14 points gave Clifford a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Iain Clark, who earned five points and three blocks.

Harrah's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Jones, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-6.

Harrah has already played their next game, a 67-23 defeat against Ada on the 4th. As for Jones, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 49-39 win against Luther on the 3rd.
