Baseball Recap: Carl Albert Comes Up Short

Carl Albert was the 4-3 winner over Jenks when they last played one another back in April of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Carl Albert fell just short of Jenks by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carl Albert saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Deleplank, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Carl Albert's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Jenks, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

Coming up, Carl Albert will head out on the road to take on Del City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Carl Albert is facing Del City at the right time seeing as Del City is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Jenks, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Charles Page at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
