Softball Recap: Mapleton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Plymouth on Thursday, Mapleton came back down to earth. The Mounties took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs on Friday.

Mapleton now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Olmsted Falls, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Mapleton is taking a road trip to square off against Crestview at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Olmsted Falls, they will face off against Columbia at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
