Softball Game Preview: Fulshear Chargers vs. Katy Taylor Mustangs

For the second straight game, Fulshear will face off against Katy Taylor. The Chargers will challenge the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fulshear is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.

Fulshear is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over Katy Taylor. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Chargers have posted since February 21st.

Brinley Jones spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
