Basketball Recap: Umpire Comes Up Short

Umpire was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost to the Legacy Academy Warriors at home by a 79-63 margin. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-37 two weeks ago.

Umpire's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Legacy Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Umpire will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Foreman at 5:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Legacy Academy, they will challenge Garrett Memorial Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
