Pike County Central is 8-2 against East Ridge since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Hawks will welcome the Warriors at 6:00 p.m.

Pike County Central made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Letcher County Central, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Hawks fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Ridge). Their pitchers stepped up to hand Council a 24-0 shutout on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

East Ridge's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Pike County Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.

Pike County Central couldn't quite get it done against East Ridge when the teams last played on Saturday as they fell 9-6. Can the Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
