Recap: Speedway Sparkplugs vs. Indianapolis Lutheran Saints
The Speedway Sparkplugs entered their tilt with the Indianapolis Lutheran Saints with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Speedway came out on top against Indianapolis Lutheran by a score of 59-49 on Tuesday. With that victory, Speedway brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.
Speedway had a senior duo take command as Alex DeLisle scored 15 points along with two steals and Daniella Galvez scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Galvez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Hayli Clampitt was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with nine rebounds.
Speedway has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.
Speedway will be playing in front of their home fans against Cascade at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cascade is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, they will take on Morristown at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
