Recap: The Leffell School Lions vs. Children's Village Hawks
In what's become a running theme this season, The Leffell School Lions gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They breezed by Children's Village on the road to the tune of 78-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for The Leffell School.
Children's Village's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Makai Webster, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds, and Damani Briggins who scored 14 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Gladson, who scored six points.
The Leffell School is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Children's Village, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.
The Leffell School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-35 defeat vs. Tuckahoe on the 7th. Children's Village has also already played their next game, a 61-52 loss against Keio Academy of N.Y. on the 7th.
