Volleyball Recap: Trenton Takes a Loss

Trenton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cameron Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Mackenzie Whipple paced Trenton's offense, picking up eight kills. Whipple got some help from Olivia Tabbert and her six assists. Ty Bonnett controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Trenton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Cameron, the victory snapped their losing streak at nine games and leaves them with a 3-15 record.

Trenton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Wellington-Napoleon on the 20th. As for Cameron, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Plattsburg on the 20th.
