Basketball Recap: Tabernacle Christian Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Parker Schatz and Elijah Taguinod

Tabernacle Christian lost against Cramerton Christian Academy back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Conquerors lost to the Crusaders on the road by a 65-50 margin. The Conquerors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Tabernacle Christian had strong showings from Elijah Taguinod, who posted 15 points and seven rebounds, and Parker Schatz, who went 7-for-17 on his way to 17 points. Schatz continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Cayden White was another key player, putting up seven points and seven boards.

Tabernacle Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Cramerton Christian Academy, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-7.

Coming up, Tabernacle Christian is taking a road trip to challenge University Christian at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Cramerton Christian Academy, they will head out to square off against Liberty Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
