Coahoma strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let the S & S Consolidated Rams get on the board and left with a 2-0 win.

Hannah Wells made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Wells wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Bree Lewis, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Coahoma's victory was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 33-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for S & S Consolidated, they moved to 26-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coahoma will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rams: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
