For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Mandeville and Northshore have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Skippers took down the Panthers 35-19. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Skippers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Mandeville pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.3 points over those games. As for Northshore, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Mandeville will venture away from home to square off against Covington at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. The Lions' defense has only allowed 11.2 points per game this season, so the Skippers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Northshore, they will head out on the road to challenge Salmen at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Spartans have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests.
