Soccer Game Preview: Mooreville vs. Houston

The Mooreville Troopers will square off against the Houston Hilltoppers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Mooreville came up short against Amory and fell 3-1. Mooreville have struggled against Amory recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Houston hadn't done well against Nettleton recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Tigers. Considering Houston have won three matchups by more than four goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Houston and bumps their season record up to 3-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those two contests. As for Mooreville, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
