Baseball Game Preview: United Golden Eagles vs. Leetonia Bears

For the second straight game, United will face off against Leetonia. The Golden Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. United's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Leetonia's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Monday, United beat Leetonia 5-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Eagles.

Kadin Schonauer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 19 over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
