Softball Recap: Blue Valley North Comes Up Short

Blue Valley North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 5-0 to the Saint Thomas Aquinas Saints. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-3 on Thursday.

Blue Valley North saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wrigley Nolen, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Blue Valley North's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Saint Thomas Aquinas, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Blue Valley North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Saint Thomas Aquinas, they will face off against St. James Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
