Soccer Recap: North Lenoir Comes Up Short

North Lenoir was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the James Kenan Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against James Kenan this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-1 on April 1st.

North Lenoir's loss dropped their record down to 4-12-1. As for James Kenan, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Lenoir will host South Lenoir at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Lenoir's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for James Kenan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wallace-Rose Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
