Volleyball Recap: Bishop McNamara Takes a Loss

Bishop McNamara was the 2-0 winner over Manteno when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Fightin' Irish took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers on Saturday.

Montana Reid paced Bishop McNamara's offense, picking up four kills. Reid got some help from Jessica Born and her ten assists. Carley Johnson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Bishop McNamara now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Manteno, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Bishop McNamara didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Cissna Park on the 30th. As for Manteno, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Herscher on the 2nd.
