Softball Game Preview: Commerce Red Raiders vs. Hampden Charter School of Science

For the second straight game, Commerce will face off against Hampden Charter School of Science. The Red Raiders will be playing at home against Hampden Charter School of Science at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Commerce is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

On Friday, Commerce didn't have quite enough to beat Hampden Charter School of Science and fell 7-5.

Commerce got a massive performance out of Vanessa Rios, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Gianna Perez, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run.

Commerce's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Hampden Charter School of Science, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-3.
