Volleyball Recap: Juarez Gets the Win

The Juarez Eagles were able to grind out a solid victory over the Bowen Boilermakers on Thursday, taking the game 2-0.

Juarez easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-17.

Juarez's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Bowen, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Juarez will take on rival Goode STEM Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bowen is set to face off against their familiar foe Simeon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
