Basketball Recap: Allegany-Limestone Comes Up Short

Allegany-Limestone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 53-40 to the Fredonia Hillbillies. The Gators were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hillbillies earlier this season, when they won 56-39.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fredonia to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rj Koopman, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Colin Luce, who went 7-for-13 on his way to 16 points.

Allegany-Limestone's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Fredonia, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Coming up, Allegany-Limestone will square off against Holland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Holland knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Allegany-Limestone likes a good challenge. As for Fredonia, they will take on Southwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
