Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Natalie Becerra and Cara Howes Lead Atascadero to Victory

There's no place like home for Atascadero, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Righetti Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The Greyhounds haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-12, 25-19.

Atascadero was led to victory by Cara Howes and Natalie Becerra. Howes had 16 assists and three digs, while Becerra had six digs. Those 16 assists gave Howes a new career-high.

Atascadero was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive matches.

Atascadero's record is now 7-2. As for Righetti, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
