Football Recap: Murrieta Mesa Rams vs. Great Oak Wolfpack
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Murrieta Mesa). Everything went their way against the Great Oak Wolfpack on Friday as they made off with a 42-21 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Rams have posted against the Wolfpack since October 5, 2018.
Nathan Cruz went supernova, rushing for 155 yards and one TD while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Murrieta Mesa was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 308 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Lux has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Ryder Parks was in the mix as well, providing Great Oak with two scores.
Murrieta Mesa now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Great Oak, their record is now an identical 4-3.
