 Barstow had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 runs), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with  a   13-9  victory over the Victor Valley Jackrabbits. That's more bragging rights for Barstow, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Mariah Rodriguez and  Alyssa Ramsey did most of the damage at the plate:  Rodriguez  scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 5-for-5, while  Ramsey  scored three  runs while going 3-for-5. Rodriguez hasn't dropped below three  hits for four straight games. Another player making a difference was  Brooke Miller, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-5.
 Barstow is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record  this season. As for Victor Valley, their loss was  their fourth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 2-11-1.
 Barstow will have a chance to go back-to-back against Victor Valley: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 3:15  p.m.  on Thursday.
