Pioneer waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They had just enough and edged out the Buena Park Coyotes 4-2. This was payback for the Titans, who suffered a 4-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Pioneer pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Buena Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pioneer will head out to square off against Mountain View at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Buena Park, they will take on Troy at 3:15 p.m. on March 26th.
