Biggersville won against Strayhorn  on Friday with 15  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Saturday. The Lions beat the Mustangs by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  15-5. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won ten matches by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
 Case Hilliard made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out eight batters over  6.2 innings while giving up  four earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits. Hilliard was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with three  runs and one  RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Biggersville's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is undefeated (and 4-15-1 when he doesn't).
 In other batting news,  Jaden Clifton was a standout: he went 3-for-5 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. He is  on a roll when it comes to  hits, as he's  now  got three or more in each of the last three games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dillon Johnson, who  got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with one  home run, three  runs,  and two  RBI.
Biggersville has  been performing  well recently as they've  won ten of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-15-1 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for Strayhorn, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record  this season.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Biggersville beat Strayhorn by a score of  7-6 on Monday.
