Softball Recap: Lassen Comes Up Short

Lassen fell victim to Red Bluff and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 6-0. The Grizzlies haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Lassen's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Red Bluff, they now have a winning record of 9-8-1.

Coming up, Lassen will head out to take on Central Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Red Bluff, they will challenge Foothill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
