Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oasis Christian). They snuck past the Winter Haven Christian Warriors with a 73-67 victory on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Oasis Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zach Shannon, who posted 19 points. Another player making a difference was Justin Linares, who earned 18 points.

Winter Haven Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nehemiah Murvin-Rawls, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Waters, who had 17 points.

Oasis Christian's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-8. As for Winter Haven Christian, their record now sits at 2-5.
