Softball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kennedy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Powers Cruisers by a score of 12-11 on Monday.

Kennedy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-11. As for Powers, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Kennedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Powers, they will head out to face off against Clatskanie at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
