Volleyball Recap: Tahoma Bears vs. Spanaway Lake Sentinels

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Curtis, Tahoma was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Spanaway Lake Sentinels by a score of 3-1.

Tahoma had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-21, 25-20, 25-22.

Nohea Alo paced Tahoma's offense, picking up 20 kills. Alo got some help from Isabelle Foote and her 35 assists. Foote was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Tahoma pushed their record up to 15-9-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Spanaway Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.

Tahoma wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Emerald Ridge on the 16th. Spanaway Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
