Stevenson is a perfect 10-0 against Franklin since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Spartans are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on the Patriots at 4:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Stevenson barely beat Plymouth Christian Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Spartans never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Monday. The victory was nothing new for the Spartans as they're now sitting on five straight.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Franklin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They put the hurt on Novi with a sharp 17-7 win on Monday.

The team relied heavily on Savana Mullen, who went 4-for-5 with three runs, three doubles, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Schniers, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Stevenson pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Franklin, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Stevenson beat Franklin 7-2 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
