Football Recap: Turner Comes Up Short

If Turner was feeling good fresh off their 34-10 takedown of Big Foot last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans fell 6-0 to the Clinton Cougars on Friday. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Turner's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Clinton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Turner will face off against Lake Mills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will need to watch out since the L-Cats have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Clinton, they will host Lodi at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
