Dove Creek can bid farewell to their seven-match losing streak thanks to their match on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Ouray Trojans by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17, 16-25, 25-15.

Mykaela Fury paced Dove Creek's offense, picking up 15 kills. Fury got some help from Kaybree Smith and her 25 assists. Finally, Fury was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Despite the loss, Ouray saw an underclassman step up: freshman Imogene Demuth had 25 digs. Those 25 digs set a new season-high mark for Demuth.
