Football Recap: Minden Skates Past Bossier with Ease + How To Watch

Minden won the last time they faced Bossier and things went their way on Friday too. The Crimson Tide blew past the Bearkats 49-13. Considering the Crimson Tide have won four games by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Minden had a senior duo take command as Caylien Aubrey rushed for 129 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine carries and Kaiden Shine rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Hudson Brown was another key player, throwing for 111 yards and one TD while completing 77.8% of his passes.

Minden was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 329 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Minden's defense and their seven sacks. Braylan Ferrell was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. Minden is 2-1 when Ferrell posts one or more sacks, but 2-3 otherwise.

The victory got Minden back to even at 4-4. As for Bossier, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Minden will take on Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Crimson Tide will need to watch out since the Falcons have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups. As for Bossier, they will square off against Woodlawn-Shreveport at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bearkats will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 42.13 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
