Softball Recap: Wagner Comes Up Short

Wagner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They lost 20-1 to the Boerne-Champion Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 back in March.

Wagner's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Boerne-Champion, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Wagner is set to take on their familiar foe Alamo Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Boerne-Champion will challenge rival Tivy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
