Basketball Recap: Hamilton Skates Past Lewistown with Ease

On Wednesday, everything came up roses for the Hamilton Cardinals against the Lewistown Indians as the squad secured a 52-13 win. The team accrued 40 points in the first half and coasted on those for the victory.

It was another big night for Jadyn Climer, who posted 19 points along with seven boards and seven steals. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Jaiyden Huston was another key player, putting up 13 points.

The win made it two in a row for Hamilton and bumps their season record up to 7-3. As for Lewistown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.

Hamilton will host Pleasant Hill/Western at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Lewistown, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Havana at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Havana will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Lewistown surely won't give up without a fight.
