Ann Sobrato had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Santa Clara Bruins.

Ann Sobrato had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 20-25, 25-22, 25-22, 15-11.

Olivia Scatena paced Ann Sobrato's offense, picking up 22 kills. Scatena got some help from Jordan Bouton and her 21 assists. Bouton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Ann Sobrato's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Santa Clara, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
