Basketball Recap: Jackson-Milton Takes a Loss

Jackson-Milton's game on Friday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 46-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southeast Pirates. The Bluejays were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2020.

Jackson-Milton has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Southeast, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

Jackson-Milton will head out on the road to face off against McDonald at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Southeast, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cardinal at 6:45 p.m. on Saturday. Southeast is facing Cardinal at the right time seeing as Cardinal is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
