Soccer Recap: Potomac School Starts Season with Win on the Road

Potomac School had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. Their defense stepped up to hand the Saint James Saints a 4-0 shutout. Potomac School haven't had any issues with Saint James recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Saint James now has a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Potomac School will host Sidwell Friends at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Saint James, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Martinsburg at 5:30 p.m. Saint James' defense better be ready for this one: Martinsburg have averaged an impressive 2.5 goals per game this season.
